Three Pillars
TBSDF's programmes are organised around three interlocking pillars — Education, Health and Livelihoods Support — each designed to build human capital and lasting community resilience.
Pillar 01 · SDG 4
TBSDF implements comprehensive literacy programmes tailored to various age groups, aiming to improve reading and writing skills among underserved populations. Our STEM education initiatives encourage critical thinking and problem-solving, equipping youth, women and people living with disabilities (PLWD) with essential skills for the future.
Vocational training programmes provide practical skills in trades and crafts, enabling participants to secure stable employment and improve their livelihoods.
We actively collaborate with local and regional educational institutions to share resources, expertise and best practices — enhancing programme development and keeping initiatives aligned with community needs and educational standards.
Pillar 02 · SDG 3
TBSDF's health initiatives focus on delivering primary healthcare services to underserved communities, addressing critical health challenges and ensuring access to essential medical care.
Workshops are aimed at promoting health literacy, empowering community members to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Focal areas include nutrition, maternal and child health, and preventive care.
Our programmes prioritise health promotion and disease prevention strategies, including immunisation drives and awareness campaigns that target common health issues in communities.
Pillar 03 · SDG 1 & 8
By promoting economic empowerment through key initiatives such as microfinance grants and loans, individuals and small businesses are provided with the financial resources needed to grow and thrive.
Our entrepreneurship training programmes equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to start and manage their own businesses, fostering innovation and self-sufficiency within communities.
Collaboration with local businesses and organisations helps create job opportunities, focusing on sustainable employment that enhances the economic stability of families and communities.
